Mike Scott
Owner, Field Service Technician
Mike’s experience as a technician began as Lead Fabricator in the power generation industry honing his skills on steam turbine generator skids, assisting in design, wiring and assembly of control systems, performing alignments, installations and pipe fitting. From there, he transitioned to the US Navy, serving as a Torpedoman’s Mate aboard the USS Connecticut (SSN-22) where he built upon his leadership abilities, quality control prowess, troubleshooting, and mechanical competence.
Following his tenure in the Navy, he began serving as a Field Service Technician, mastering skills that would bolster his career. He carried those proficiencies forward as he began his own venture founding Scott Equipment Services. Now, he oversees all field service and commissioning work, quality control reviews, and provides remote or on-site review of steam, lube oil, and process piping design for optimal functionality and adherence to applicable codes.
Mike is the liaison between customer, contractor, and OEM to create cohesion and a top-functioning product.
