Mike Scott
Owner, Field Service Technician
Mike’s experience as a technician began as Lead Fabricator in the power generation industry, honing his skills on steam turbine generator skids, assisting in design, wiring and assembly of control systems, and performing alignments, installations and pipe fitting. From there, he transitioned to the US Navy, serving as a Torpedoman’s Mate aboard the USS Connecticut (SSN-22), where he built upon his leadership abilities, quality control, troubleshooting and mechanical competence.
Following his tenure in the Navy, he began serving as a Field Service Technician, mastering skills that would bolster his career. He carried those proficiencies forward when he founded Scott Equipment Services. Now he oversees all field service and commissioning work and quality control reviews, and provides remote or on-site review of steam, lube oil and process piping design for optimal functionality and adherence to applicable codes.
Mike is the liaison between customer, contractor and OEM to create cohesion and a top-functioning product.
